Leaders Formation Feedback

Helping Parishes with Quince Spiritual Formation since 2011.

Feedback from Leaders who completed our Formation.

“More than expected and very helpful! The program is excellent and provides a solid platform to expand on our Catholic teachings and faith. The Manual is delightful and young girls will find it lovely. I’m ready to facilitate and take back the ‘Good News’ to our parish girls” – Adelita, parish volunteer at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Flint MI.

The TOB approach and the formation of conscience were my favorite parts! The teaching material is simple, complete, practical and 100% Catholic. I am glad that now the Archdiocese will follow a well-developed curriculum that is complete. God bless! (Edith, Office of H.M.- Arch KS)

The course provided in a short a moment of time, tons of information filled with the truth of Jesus Christ. Teens listen many voices and this course provides the voice of the good Shepherd who gives His life for them by explaining the truth specially on hard subjects. The responses of my trainer and feedback received were very clear and full of information that I can use not only in my own life, but to guide the lives of the teens. All were on target by using church doctrine and sound resources. The kind of topics and themes addressed in this course is what teens need to hear from us, church leaders. Good sounding theology presented in simple ways is what teens might, perhaps, long to hear and have not heard it. (Sr. Katia, Parish Coordinator of Corpus Christi in Bonita, CA)

“So great to have all the material organized by an educator! Material is so appealing for the young ladies! I especially liked Session #3 on purity and chastity presented with a measure of detail and clear language, and the opportunity to bring family to discussion”. (Delia, parish volunteer of St. Thomas the Apostle in Ann Harbor, MI

The opening and closing prayers were great to open and end with. This course provides so much more opportunities for Quinceaneras to develop Christian virtues and how to connect with God. My thoughts are it should be shared to more organizations for all young girls and not just Quinceaneras. Gives them a lot of materials to read and talk to parents of purity, sacredness, and following God's plan for them. I appreciated very much how to present the differences from what is right and wrong, conscience and opinion, moral and immoral. Respecting your body by saying no and praying to God for strength to overcome temptations. So very happy and thankful for so much that I thought I knew but really learned more of God's plan and love for each one of us. Great training tool!” (Teresa, parish volunteer of Christ Our Light in Navasota, TX)

“It has been a great opportunity to be prepared and trained with this program. It is very informative and has a lot of open discussion and interaction with the girls. Love the approach that invites teens to renew their relationship with Jesus, God, and Mary, our Blessed Mother” (Sylvia, catechist of St. Francis of Assisi in Ann Harbor, MI)

I think this material will really equip teens to face the secular world by providing great opportunities to grow in their relationship with Christ. I can’t wait to facilitate this retreat in my parish. Thank you very much! (Sr. Rosana, H.M. Coord. of St. Catherine in Emporia, KS)

All great informational teachings. All comments and insights were very helpful and I appreciate the additional information on the topics. Thank you for offering the training online and providing the additional insights and comments! Our youth is lost and we need to offer something to make them connect to our Faith and we can start with those wanting to celebrate a Quince Mass. (Tina Villegas, Faith Formation & Discipleship of Most Precious Blood in Corpus Christi, TX)

I feel ready to start this course at my parish. I will start by inviting the teens that are already in my youth group and encourage them to experience this encounter with the Lord. My favorite part was the Consecration to the Virgin Mary on the day of their quince. The prayer provided and reflection on it are beautiful! I would definitely recommend this training to others. It is very helpful on how to guide the teens from communities. (Celina, Quince Coordinator of Santa Teresita in El Mirage, AZ)

I very much enjoyed the presentations and explanations of all the sessions. They were easy to follow along and truly show how the teachings of our faith apply to this beautiful tradition. Being able to have a detailed explanation gives solidity to the course allowing learning, and makes me confident to explain some of the aspects of our faith to the youth in a way they will easily understand. I think it is needed that youth know all this before going through with a Quinceañera Celebration. Thanks! (Olivia, Youth Ministry Coordinator of St. Mary in Graham, TX)

I really enjoyed this course and it exceeded my expectations! This course will provide numerous opportunities for the Quinceaneras to develop Christian values and connect with God because there is so much faith-based spirituality that ties in to the lessons, and right in the center is God's will and plan. Our Blessed Mother and her virtues and the role model that she is, will also help them connect with God. (Cindy, parish volunteer of Most Precious Blood in Corpus Christi, TX)
